Community Development
Had lunch with some of the 3rd floor residents. Later that day, the residents and I went out to Chinese Buddha in Midtown. Didn’t know that one of them was Buddhist and 2 others were vegetarians.

RA Program (Ethical Leadership)

I hosted a seminar with Matthew Ellis (RA in Perdue) on the topic of Building your interviewing skills and what tools and resources you need to study and intern abroad. I wanted to do a program that would help the residents get prepared for interviews that could possibly arise from networking at the Career Fair later this week.

A total of 16 residents and 1 RA came out to the event last night.
(A few are not in this picture because they had to leave early for practices and meetings.)
Last night I had the privilege to work with Ms. Wyatt in Career Services and help host last night’s event “Are You Well Traveled Through A Career Fair?”
Later on tonight, I will be going out with my residents to a yoga class.

How To Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions!
My resident Arman Green really wanted someone to go to the airport with him since he was going home to Chicago today. I decided I would go with him and even pay for marta fare. I guided him all the way to the security checkpoint in the airport since it was his second time taking the marta and his first time in the airport here in Atlanta. He called me once he got home and wanted to thank me for taking time out of my day to go with him to the airport.
This made my day.
I love my residents.
